To Whom It May Concern:
Eco Solutions, owned by Trent Botkin, has been serving as the prairie dog relocation contractor for the City of Santa Fe Municipal Airport from 2006 to 2009. During this time, he has managed the relocation of over 1,500 prairie dogs from the Runway Safety Areas and adjacent areas. During this time, he has employed several individuals who have consistently demonstrated both the ability to capture prairie dogs and to abide by strict airfield safety standards. Mr. Botkin has been able to quickly respond to requests for enhanced capture operations, change of priority area, and short-notice requests to relocate prairie dogs prior to pending construction. Additionally, he has maintained a retention area for captured prairie dogs on airport grounds that has proven to be clean and healthy during occasional inspections.
Due to the work performed by this company, the Santa Municipal Airport has received an FAA airfield inspection passing grade regarding wildlife management every year since he started operations. His work has been instrumental in aiding the airport in securing larger commercial aircraft to serve the city of Santa Fe. Trent Botkin and his company Eco Solutions have demonstrated the flexibility and professionalism required in this dynamic environment. I recommend them to anyone seeking similar services.
Sincerely,
Jim

To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to strongly recommend Trent Botkin and his company, Eco Solutions for any environmental needs your organization may have with relationship to prairie dog removal and relocation, gopher removal, dusting of holes for fleas and other insects, etc.
I have had the opportunity to work with Trent for the past three years on our prairie dog removal and relocation program, and I find him to be a professional in every sense of the word, and very conscientious and humane in his treatment of prairie dogs. He is very conscientious about following state law and city ordinances related to removal of prairie dogs, and Trent has a very high level, sophisticated computer and software system for identifying the burrows of the individual families.
Trent is always accessible, responsive and timely in completing his scope of work. If you have questions about Trent, please do not hesitate to contact my office, but I do recommend him, without hesitation, for any needs your organization may have in this area. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
In the summer of 2007, Trent Botkins of Eco-Solutions removed and relocated over 100 of the prairie dogs which were wreaking havoc on the grounds of the historical Fairview Cemetery in Santa Fe.
We found Eco-Solutions work to be both professional and humane and do not hesitate to recommend their work to others plagued by prairie dogs.

To Whom It May Concern:
This letter
serves as a recommendation of Trent Botkin of Eco Solutions in Santa Fe, New
Mexico.
We own a portion
of the Plaza Entrada Shopping Center located at Zia Road and St. Francis
Drivein Santa Fe, where there was an ever-increasing prairie dog population. In
2005, we were given the names of three people (not including Mr. Botkin) that
we were told relocated prairie dogs. We called all three and entered into an
agreement with a woman working out of Denver to help us move the animals within
the ordinances established by the City of Santa Fe. Throughout 2005 and 2006,
we repeatedly attempted to make contact with the woman to find out the status
of our prairie dog relocation, but she was either too busy to call back or was
out of cell phone range, and we missed the relocation window opportunities in
both 2005 and 2006. During this time, the prairie dog population at the center
continued to increase unchecked. We called the other two people whose names we
had previously been given, but we were unable to find anyone else willing to do
the work.
In early 2007,
we met Trent Botkin in another business transaction unrelated to prairie dogs.
Mr.
Botkin informed
us of his occupation and said he would be happy to assist us with complying
with the City of Santa Fe ordinances to relocate the animals to another
location. The work was performed professionally and expeditiously, within the
window of time permissible for relocation in 2007. Throughout the work, Mr.
Botkin was professional, courteous, committed to the job, and he stayed in contact
with us to report progress- a pleasant change from our previous attempts to
work with other relocation contractors. We have since remained in e-mail
contact with Mr. Botkin to relocate the few stray animals that have attempted to
reinhabit the empty dens, and he has replied and taken care of our needs since
the major relocation job was completed two years ago.
We would
recommend Mr. Botkin to other businesses and individuals that require prairie
dog
relocation and
we would be happy to discuss our experience of working with him further, should
you
have additional
questions.
Sincerely,
Donna K. Miles
